The
Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR), in partnership with
the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), is pleased to offer a
variety of travel scholarships for events taking place in Spring 2013
through the program "Leadership through New Communities of
Knowledge." These scholarships have been made possible through the
generous financial support of the Institute of Museum and Library
Services.
Scholarships
currently available include the following:
- May 9–11, 2013: American
Council of Learned Societies, Annual Meeting, Baltimore, MD
- May 16–17, 2013: The
Conference for Entrepreneurial Librarians, Greensboro, NC
- May 19–22, 2013: American
Alliance of Museums, Annual Meeting and Museum Expo, Baltimore,
MD
- May 19–22, 2013: Academic
Library Advancement and Development Network (ALADN), Annual
Conference: Getting to the Point, Pittsburgh, PA
- May 18–21, 2013: Acquisitions
Institute, Timberline Lodge, OR
- June 6–9, 2013: North
American Serials Interest Group (NASIG), Buffalo, NY
- June 9–11, 2013: Special
Libraries Association (SLA), 2013 Annual Conference, San Diego,
CA
These
scholarships will provide recipients with reimbursement for approved
meeting-related travel and registration in amounts up to $1,000, per
CLIR's travel policy. To apply, please use the online application form
found on CIC's website at www.cic.edu/Librarians. The deadline for submission
of applications is 5:00 pm EDT on April 15, 2013.
